pow()

Calculates the value of a number raised to a power.

double pow(double x, double y)

Compute an exponentiation.

Parameters:

• x -

  the base. This value cannot be zero if y <= 0. This value cannot be negative if y is not an integral value.

• y -

  the exponent.

Return:

x raised to the power y.
